free download gmail drive

GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem around your Google Mail account, allowing you to use Gmail as a storage medium.

GMail Drive creates a virtual filesystem on top of your Google Gmail account and enables you to save and retrieve files stored on your Gmail account directly from inside Windows Explorer. GMail Drive literally adds a new drive to your computer under the My Computer folder, where you can create new folders, copy and drag'n'drop files to it.

Ever since Google started to offer users a Gmail e-mail account, which includes storage space of 6000 megabytes, you have had plenty of storage space but not a lot to fill it up with. With GMail Drive you can easily copy files to your Google Mail Account and retrieve them again.

When you create a new file using GMail Drive, it generates an e-mail and posts it to your account. The e-mail appears in your normal Inbox folder, and the file is attached as an e-mail attachment. GMail Drive periodically checks your mail account (using the Gmail search function) to see if new files have arrived and to rebuild the directory structures. But basically GMail Drive acts as any other hard-drive installed on your computer.

• Unfortunately, most commercial sunscreens don’t provide effective protection from UVA rays, which equal 95 percent of the Earth’s UV radiation. The safest way to guard your skin is to wear sun-protective clothing. No matter how good or expensive the sunscreen is, it does not protect as well as putting sun-protective fabric between you and the sun.

• Most sunscreen formulas offer less protection with each minute of exposure because they begin to break down shortly after application. Also, people usually do not apply enough sunscreen for effective protection and often miss areas of exposed skin. How many consumers reapply sunscreen every 2 hours, as recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation? An SPF rating often gives people a false sense of security.
• UVA rays result in “tan” skin, which is the skin’s response to DNA damage. Though tanning booths would like you to believe their tanning rays are safe, the research is in that UVA rays cause skin cancer. Tan skin also transforms over time into prematurely aged skin.
• Another crucial fact to remember is that even in winter, when the sun feels weaker, UVA rays surround us with equal intensity. UVA damages skin year-round and all day long.
• Protect yourself during all seasons. Cover up with sun-protective clothing and a wide-brimmed sun hat and take a few extra minutes to apply broad-spectrum UVA/UVB-blocking sunscreen containing titanium dioxide, zinc oxide or avobenzone.
